It was a great two days spent with our customers.
This seminar was a bit risky for us. We'd never hosted anything like this before and weren't sure on the layout, content or if people would even turn up. We even had to change the location to the fantastic Donnington Grove as we didn't book the original place in time!
But from the very beginning, we knew we had done alright. We have great customers. Everyone got on, we all managed to learn something and most importantly, we all had fun.

During day one - the Domestic Day - there was input from the room, questions asked and a chance to get to know everyone. We kept the room alive with a little softener race which saw Nathalie from Total Soft Water, George from Prosep and Jack from Sandy's Salt & Softeners take each other on. It was close between all three at the end when George took gold, although he did leave a lot of his resin on the floor! He was awarded with a prize of a brand new domestic RO from our range. We felt bad for Jack as he came so close and didn't spill any resin, so we gave him one too.
Day one finished with a good discussion on where we think the future of softening is heading, with input from everybody. Kennet Water now has a lot to work on to keep ahead of the game!
Day 2 - The Commercial Day - was always going to be an info heavy day. With Neil (The Chemist) going through two heavy hitting presentations in the morning. First was Water Chemistry and second was Media and Resins.
The attendees managed to keep up (I think!), but to try and help, we included a little game of guess the pH using some typical products you would find at home. It's interesting that the one that stuck in peoples head is Gin, with a pH of 7. I think there we're some fans in the room.

We finished the day with a discussion on new products and services, which got ideas flowing. Finishing a little early gave us time to chat to everybody that came, go through some product ranges we had brought with us and answer any questions.
Overall a great two days. We plan to continue with a seminar each year and will keep improving. Next year will have a different layout and include a broader range of products and services.
Thank you everyone that came, we look forward to speaking to you soon.
